When your loved ones die, they are never far away. For one week every year, they can visit you right here on Poison Ivy Bay. Even so, Ken can never forget the way his brother looked before the light began to leave his eyes. The very thought of his brother's spirit terrifies him. Thus, in order to stall Huxli's death, Ken walk among the dead, and face death "herself."

"Ivy Chained" is a whimsical and supernatural dark fantasy webcomic based within the fictional island: Poison Ivy Bay. An island filled with poisonous plants and flowers, where both son and moon sit in the sky simultaneously. Every year for one week, the son and moon leave, marking the return of spirits, and a celebration of their arrival: "MoonSon Festival." When the island isn't full of spirits, mortals can visit them by "deathwalking"; separating their spirits from their bodies and "walking among the dead."This webcomic explores spirituality, grief, mortality, and moving on with elements of Japanese and Chinese mythology. It is currently posted on Tapas. Updates every Friday.Tapas link

Patient who suffers from a cancer that runs in his family. Currently being treated by Doctor Willow. Every day he loses his light a little more but he still holds on for the chance to open his dream garden shop with his little brother.

A spirit who died at 18 due to his own actions. Very selfish and greedy at times. Tends to only look out for himself and doesn’t hesitate to leave others behind if they don’t benefit him. He’s running out of time.

Mortal, very protective of his older brother. He has stayed by Huxli’s side for years, through thick and thin, through sickness and health, and waits for him to wake up. Huxli is his entire world, and he’s desperate to hold onto that. Eventually, he has to break. He’s tired of waiting.

I cannot fail.
